When the phone rings too early...
Hello world,
well I was awoken by my phone ringing at 8:30 this morning. First thought... I am supposed to be at work...sure enough work number on the caller ID.... second thought.. No I am NOT supposed to be at work this morning. Third thought.... shit I just hung up on my boss. In my stupor of figuring out what day and time it is I neglected to open the flip phone with two fingers and the darn thing opened just enough to answer the call then closed shut like a oyster protecting its pearl. Well seeing that I am a work conscious person so I tried to call my boss back but not before he called me again. I mean what if I was trying to give him a hint. Anyway. He asked me to come in. The meat dept manager never really asked when robin was coming back from vacation and assumed it was yesterday, therefore that she would work, but alas she is still enjoying her beach time... lucky lady. So I ventured into work about 9 am. Starving... I had toast...But really its toast. So I take you back to the meat department of my grocery store. Picture, if you will, an orange colored sticker about 2 inches by 3 inches that has the three little pigs on it. Two are dancing together with very large grins, which is unusually to say the least...pigs don't grin. The third little pig is playing the flute or piccolo..Its actually quite small, so my vote is a piccolo. Now here is the important part of this image I am asking you to re-create. In large, bold, capitol letters are the words "ASSORTED PORK CHOPS" Does anyone else see the irony in this image. Its wrong...So very wrong. So wrong that I, in fact, laughed for about three minutes. What makes this story even more ironic, my manager (the one with a soft spot for kids) gave that very sticker out to all the kids today... "Hey, want a sticker with the three little pigs on it?" its sick. :::shakes head:::oh the irony.
I started tutoring today, its not really that bad, I think she will pass her test and thus the fifth grade, I have confidence. Well I have to call the love of my life. Justin awaits

I think Justin will stick with you... cause you're totally hotter than Whatshername-Frenchy. And if paying that close attention to pork chop stickers isn't living in the moment, I don't know what is!!!!!

I don't think any guy appreciates teacher looks. Aaron has started identifying all my teacher traits and just grinning at me when he catches one. The effect is sadly lacking
