The little moments

Hello World,
lately I have been struck by little things that I see. Starting in the class. This is this student who strives to be super cool and acts like she hates to read. Well we have silent reading time everyday where they have to read. I looked up and saw her laughing at something in the book then as suddenly as it started she stopped looked around, when she did not notice anyone looking she continued to laugh. 5th graders are so fickle. There is another student who walked in with his collar popped. When he walked in I asked him if he thought he was cool, and told him that if he really wanted to do it right he needs to wear two polos, coordinating colors of course, with the collars popped. When he came back to class after the restroom break his collar was down. I looked at him and told him I was teasing. Well the next day he walks in with two polos on color coordinating and all. Collar Popped and such....tooo funny. I love it.
I was driving to rainbow yesterday and while driving out of town I pass a low income apartment complex where a lot of senior citizens live. As I was stopped at the red light I looked over and saw a woman on a scooter (like a hoverround of sorts) not a moped type. She had this tiny dog in her lap, just enjoying the breeze of the 3 miles an hour scooter. They both looked so content to be riding along on that beautiful day. It made me smile.
Just a few things that made me smile that were out of the ordinary.
