Hello World

It has begun...My two weeks of full time teaching...All the kids, all day, by myself. I'm doing ok I believe....I believe. Tomorrow is going to be a day of change. As the song says "I see a new dawn on the horizon" and that beautiful dawn is the Principals office. I am done hole-punching fair play money and having them argue with me. I have explicit directions to send them to the office at the first sign of an argument. The first "But I didn't do anything." gets a yellow sticky post- it note to see Mrs. Morrison in the library about arguing and talking back. She is then going to escort them to the principals office. Who knew I had that sort of power...Who knew. Bwah ha ha-Oh just kidding. I am slipping in to Mr. Wong...Yes that is his name and by the way his first name is Harry. My fellow senior ed majors and I used this man as a source of entertainment to get us through the class that was from 6-8...What a terrible time for class, really. I digress..Mr. Wong says that teachers go through several stages before they are master teachers, I am slopping into survival mode...And I don't even teach in an area that affords its teachers combat pay. Its more of a get through the day and get them off my back....blah.
We went in late today because of ICY roads..Yah sleeping to 9, that probably made my day 10 times better
