Christmas craziness
Hello World~
Wow, The craziness of the Christmas Holidays has passed. And in the first time in several years I don't feel let down. I usually have all this build up to the holiday season. Music the day after Thanksgiving (or just a little before to be sacrilegious.) I spend time over each present purchase and subsequent wrapping. I decorate with fervor and dream about what my own home will look like one day. I have these delusions of Grandeur about what I might receive. In reality I know my family is struggling and anything I receive is a surprise and a blessing. I just seems in the past years that after the presents are unwrapped the holiday is over. Its a sad feeling, very anti-climatic. This year was different, It was more full I guess. I didn't overload myself with music this holiday. I only got presents for those closest to me. I wrapped them all with more love than I usually put into a present. Justin was at my house so I had more to do after the presents were opened. We watched movies and talked. Mom and I cooked. Justin and I left for his family’s house in South Georgia. It was about a 2 hour drive that was delayed by a bored cop...blah. I was literally 1 mile into a new speed limit, which I had not noticed, and my car was set on cruise. The speed limit was 70, I had the cruse set to 79. Of course I set my cruise not thinking this is a wrecked car...not everything is entirely accurate so as I found out I was going 82, which isn't bad except the speed limit had dropped to 65 without my knowledge, which honestly is my fault but not fair. So the nifty city of Forsyth has a website, but unfortunately my ticket isn't in the system yet so i still don't know how much it is. Justin’s Grandmother on his Mom’s side has family that works at the police station so maybe she can take care of it. Both Justin and his Dad told me to let them know how much it is, so maybe they will help me if it is a lot. Although I hate to ask them to do anything b/c it is my ticket. I really hope it doesn't raise my insurance. Any who, we get to Justin’s family’s house in time to join them in the drinking fun. Justin and I stayed up talking with his Uncle Mike, who I can only describe in the word of the weekend as Fabulous. His family was very welcoming and for that I am sooooo very grateful. I am glad that I went, and look forward to going again. All in all Christmas was refreshing this year. I got my praxis scores today I passed, with average scores...but I passed!Eliza~Beth

Nothing ever goes away
Without something taking its place
Replacement hip for mars
Red peel deep away
Strange disease injected into the arms
Of an artificial summer day
Coming over me
How sweetly we crash
Into each others satellite
Wear the shirt the robot picked out
It has a movie of the expanding universe
Hidden in its context
I am the victim
And you are the assailant
And inbetween are the
ocean blue
and the sky
